Ezekiel 34:27-28

"Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. “They will no longer be a prey to the nations, and the beasts of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make them afraid.

We live in an age when insurance companies abound. More and more are coming up. They give us every reason we should give our monies to them. We do that because we are conscious of certain securities in cases of emergency. These are good, but they have their shortfalls which we know too well. When we give to insurance companies for some future security we do not put in consideration that the company could go bankrupt, wind up or the owners become corrupt and something terrible could happen. We still trust them.

How much more shall we trust the God of our salvation! Read through the passage today. It is not a particularly loud passage. See how gradually and carefully the writer loads every statement with utmost assurance. No wonder he is only echoing what he heard from the Spirit of God. When God speaks it is final, and that makes us assuredly secure in whatever He has promised to give to us. We are blessed.

When the enemy comes against us, we have a covering. When we pray for our children, we are assured that the God who answers prayer is watching over them. When we commit our business into God’s hands, we are sure we will prosper. Above all, remember that when life on earth and elements melt with fervent heat, we have a home in heaven not made with hands.

1. Thank God for the absolute security He provides over everything that is good for us. Thank God for the safety of your family and loved ones, for your business, your work and anything that contributes to your life.

2. Pray for a heart that is at rest and trusting God absolutely so you can enjoy His peace.

3. Father, I thank You for being a strong Tower where I can hide and be absolutely free from all alarms. Thank You for this great privilege.

I declare that I am forever safe in Christ. Anything that targets my downfall will backfire in the name of Jesus. I declare that through Christ I am more than a conqueror; therefore, no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgement, I condemn.
