28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, 30 Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived
If we understand how His grace works on our behalf, we will no longer struggle with the truth that God loves us. God loves us and He is always fighting for us. As a matter of fact, He has fought and won every battle we have to fight.
Even after Samson had broken every Nazarite vow, God heard him at the last minute. God still does the same for His children today under the dispensation of grace. The dispensation of grace makes available God’s grace to us in all situations.
When God fights for you, you will not be disgraced before your enemies. The Bible records that more people died at Samson’s death than he slew in earlier battles. God respects His name and His glory and we are privileged to belong to Him. Still trust in Him like a child and you will see for yourself. What God did for Samson, He can do for you today.
1. Rejoice in the Lord for the many victories you have experienced this year and the many that are lined up for you.
2. Pray for continued trust in Him as the One who fights for you and learn to be steadfast in Him all the times.
3. Father, because of You I have absolute confidence that I am a winner. Strengthen my faith in You to continue trusting You.
Today, I praise God for the many victories I have won through prayer by the grace of God. I declare that my God will continue to fight on my behalf. I declare that I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. He is The Victorious One, therefore, I declare by my God, no man can stand against me all the days of my life; I will continually run through troops and leap over walls. He has fought and won all my battles. I walk in the victory of Calvary in the name of Jesus.
