Deuteronomy 11:22-24

22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. 24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Can you imagine what the Israelites were thinking when Moses told them that God was taking them to a land that flowed with milk and honey? Just imagine four hundred years of slavery, suffering the pain of whips on your back, and then the promise of relief comes to you. You certainly will have high expectations like they did.

Now they got to the land and it was occupied by all kinds of tribes. It certainly did not look like a land flowing with milk and honey. Did God know there were some occupants on the land? Yes He did. Did God know the might of the occupants of the land? Yes He did. So God took upon Himself the responsibility to drive those nations out of the land.

Whoever is occupying the place God has set for you is in trouble; because God is going to do some shaking in this place. When God shakes, nothing stands. Stop complaining about whatever you consider as so called ‘giants’ in the land God has promised you – whether in business, etc. God knows how to create the path for you.

1.      Thank God for having gone ahead of you like He did when Moses asked Him to. He is always faithful.

2.     Pray that you will learn to keep your hands firmly in His as He drives away every obstacle before you.

3.     Father, thank You for always being there for me and for going ahead of me.

I declare that I am already in my Promised Land. I see it by faith and I enter in by faith in the name of Jesus. My God has gone ahead of me; He has driven out all my enemies before me. I walk in confidence because of the strength of my God. I refuse to walk in fear. Now, let all obstacles be taken out of my way in the name of Jesus. I resist the oppressors, I drive out demonic entities and  I take possession of my possessions in the name of Jesus.
